How RV Solver uses information when you read our guides, use our tools or search for an RV service provider.

Website traffic information

We use traffic information available through Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, to understand site activity. The public page-view counter has been removed. We do not load Google Analytics or display an analytics-consent popup.

Who to contact

This policy applies to rvsolver.com. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you supplied to RV Solver, email [email protected]. To correct or remove a business-directory record, email [email protected]. Please identify the page or listing involved and do not include sensitive identity documents in an initial request.

Directory searches and listings

The directory matches the location and filters you enter against provider records in your browser. It does not request your device’s precise geolocation. We no longer send directory searches, listing views or contact-button clicks to Google Analytics. If you contact a provider, the provider receives the information you choose to share.

Tools and information saved on your device

Public calculators and the guided troubleshooter run in your browser and do not require an account. The maintenance checklist stores completed items in browser local storage so they remain checked when you return. Checklist progress stays on that browser unless you independently copy or share it. Use the checklist’s reset button or your browser’s site-data controls to remove it.

Applications, emails and public business records

When you submit the provider application, the site sends the business and contact details, service area, qualifications and other information you enter to RV Solver by email through Cloudflare. We use these details to respond, review applications, manage listings and address corrections or disputes. The form does not collect payment-card information. Application details are kept in our email correspondence; this form does not save them to a website application database.

The application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including your IP address, browser information and the site being visited, to operate and improve its bot detection. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum. We do not include your application details in the Turnstile verification request.

The directory also contains public business information and distinguishes unclaimed basic listings from claimed or sponsored listings. Approved business details may be published. Request a correction or removal using the contact above. Email providers and a provider’s website or communications service handle information under their own policies.

Ask an Expert and contributor accounts

You can ask a question without creating an account. We store your email, question, optional RV details, topic, and publication consent in our Cloudflare-hosted database. Approved contributors can read questions and prepare answers; only site administrators can access the separately collected visitor email. We use your email to respond to your question, not to enroll you in marketing.

With your permission, an edited question and reviewed answer may be published for other visitors to read. Your email field is not included on public answer pages. Please leave phone numbers, addresses, identification numbers, and other private information out of your question. Administrators review the public text before publishing. Contact [email protected] to request a correction or removal.

Approved technicians use invitation-only accounts to draft answers and articles. We store account names, email addresses, password hashes, invitations, and session records. A secure sign-in cookie lasts up to seven days; signing out or withdrawing access ends the session. Contributor display names appear with their published work. Drafts and unanswered questions are private.

Question submissions use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. We also use short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit abuse. Answers and contributor invitations are sent through Cloudflare Email Service; delivery status is stored so administrators can identify failed or unconfirmed messages. Questions, drafts, correspondence, and published content are retained to provide and maintain this service. Contact us about deleting information you supplied.

Hosting, security and fonts

The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Hosting and security services can process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information and request logs to deliver pages, protect the site and diagnose problems. Cloudflare provides traffic and performance reports as part of our website services. The site also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information such as an IP address and browser headers. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google Fonts privacy information.

Advertising and payments

Google AdSense and its display-ad scripts have been removed from this site. The provider directory can offer paid sponsored placements, which are labeled Sponsored. We do not collect payment-card numbers through the public site; any separately arranged listing payment is handled through the payment or invoicing service used for that transaction.

Retention, sharing and your requests

Local checklist data remains until reset or cleared. The retired page counter no longer collects new counts; its historical aggregate total may remain in the hosting database. Removing earlier tracking code does not delete historical Google Analytics information or browser data already stored. You can clear old site data through your browser settings. Cloudflare and historical Analytics records remain subject to the applicable service and account settings. Correspondence and listing records are used for the application, support or directory purpose for which they were provided, including addressing disputes and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us about the current retention arrangements for information you supplied or to request deletion.

Service providers process information to support the functions described here, and processing may occur outside your state or country. Public listing information is visible to site visitors. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable law or protect the site and its users. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information. Contact us to make a request; we may need proportionate information to verify it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site’s practices change and revise the date above. New advertising, accounts or other features may require additional disclosures and choices before use.
